With over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field, there are three things I hold to be true.

My approach is eclectic, tailoring each person's unique needs to the appropriate modality. Those listed below are my most common methods.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)-Learning how to notice negative automatic thoughts/cognitive distortions/irrational
thoughts and balance/change these thoughts in order to change emotions and behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior Skills Training (DBT Skills NOT DBT Therapy). There are 4 components to skills training including Core Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance. Even though these skills were developed for those that struggle with suicidality and behaviors associated with borderline personality disorder, I believe, these are basic life skills and we all can benefit.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This therapy is used to assist people remembering painful events without reliving/feeing in the present, the pain of those events.
Person Centered Therapy/Humanistic—I provide respect and unconditional positive regard in order to promote growth and health.
